Based in Los Angeles, I began my career in production in 2001 as an intern working in independent films.  Eventually I became a full-time Production Assistant on music videos and a few tv series.  Learning from the ground up, I drove trucks, ran around on set handing out walkies and picking up trash, worked in an office, never slept, all the fun PA things.  I transitioned into Assistant Directing on music videos and quite a few moderately budgeted action feature films.  However, when a staff position opened at a large commercial production company, I jumped at the chance.  The fast-paced, yet meticulously thought-out approach to advertising really resonated with me.  After a few years on staff, I left the safety and comfort of an office to tackle freelancing again, only this time in branded content and advertising production.

 

Now, with over 23 years of experience in production, the broad scope of projects I have been fortunate to be a part of has enabled me to work with every level of budget and creative.  Whether it is creating content for a small local Mom & Pop shop, or a top brand name’s latest release, or a documentary, or any other form of motion and photography, I thrive in that environment where the creative meets logistics and budget. I truly enjoy partnering with the Director or Photographer and working closely with the diverse and talented Ad Agency and Client teams to bring their visions to life

I am always looking for new challenges and opportunities to learn and grow as a producer.

To that end, in 2015 I created All lined Up Productions as a production service company to open up new opportunities and  better serve the changing dynamics of the industry.

Outside of production-life, I spend as much time as possible with my wife, daughter and our awesome yet psychotic SIberian Husky.  Occasionally I’ll find some time to play a round of golf, and spend time outdoors skiing, swimming, hiking, or going to concerts and movies.  Of course, there is always a good time to read a book and binge a tv show (but never skipping over the ads).
